About Me
My counseling theoretical orientation is Adlerian; therefore, I conceptualize presenting client problems and formulate treatment planning in consideration of the Adlerian theoretical model. I approach each client’s session and treatment planning according to their developmental capabilities and plan interventions accordingly. Many of my sessions are client-centered and non-directive, particularly in younger populations. I have been a serving child and adolescent clients and their families, since March 21, 2022.
Education & Experience
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP Accredited) December, 2021 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC) license number: 17273, I received my Basic Training through Personal Transformation Institute and was trained in the Somatic and Attachment Focused (SAFE) EMDR. I have been trained in Play Therapy, integration of EMDR and Play Therapy and am currently working towards credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist.
