About Me
I’m an experienced EMDR-Certified Therapist and EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Consultant in private practice. Clinically, I am warm, active, innovative and data-driven. I consider therapy a collaborative, creative process. I am experienced in facilitating lasting healing from complex trauma in those with structural dissociation. As a consultant, I guide therapists in how to effectively and succinctly prepare those with dissociative identity disorder for trauma processing, and in incorporating parts work, somatic, mindfulness, attachment-based, hypnotic, polyvagal and other interventions into all phases of EMDR relational therapy.
Education & Experience
Master's of Education in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in treating trauma and addiction from Cambridge College. I also have a PhD in Molecular Biology from my previous profession. I spent 8 years in community mental health and 5 years in private practice.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
In addition to EMDRIA, I am also a member of ISSTD (International Society for the Study Trauma and Dissociation), ASCH (American Society of Clinical Hypnosis), NESCH (New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis) and MAMHCA (Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association).
