About Me

Carol Ann Rupeka: I am in Private Practice (part time) in Knoxville, Tn. I have over 30 years experience specializing with addictions, PTSD, depression and anxiety. Founded and owned a licensed alcohol and drug clinic in New York State. Was a principle investigator at this clinic for DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Company for the study of Trexan. I served as the MidAtlantic Regional District Consultant for the American Counseling Association. I Work with developmental trauma, inner child work, developing a secure self, and Addictions.    I have experience in inpatient and outpatient clinical programs, integrated behavioral health program for adults with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorders. I am trained in use EMDR, DBT, Developmental needs and ego state work, RET, Mindfulness training, and other techniques.

Education & Experience

I graduated (and was the Graduate Assistant) for the Counseling and Development Depatment at Long Island University, N.Y. I have trained with Albert Ellis at the Institute for Rational Emotive Therapy, I have been training in Life Skills Education at Columbia University, N.Y., I have been training by Marsha Linahan in DBT Skills,

I worked on th Dual diagnosis task force in the state of tennessee, I have served on the Housing Committee for the Homeless Colition in Knoxville Tennessee. I have worked witht the Red Cross in their Military Service Department.
