About Me

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider in the State of Tennessee. I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, Complex-PTSD, and anxiety. I also work with issues of faith & spirituality including church/religious trauma. Quite a bit of my practice is dedicated to individuals who are going through or have been through chronic medical issues including cancer and long COVID. I also work with caregivers of those who are or have been through chronic medical issues.

I bringing a calm, compassionate, non-judgmental presence to sessions. I often refer to Daniel Siegel's 4Ss; the fundamental human need to be seen, soothed, safe & secure. So much of reprocessing trauma is "picking up the stitches" of where seen, soothed, safe & secure were previously dropped or non-existent.

My own personal experience of EMDR has been life changing and given me a passion to offer this modality to others. I often incorporate mindfulness and breath practices within the EMDR work while also utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS) when people are struggling to access trauma for reprocessing.
