About Me

My clinical practice is rooted in the belief that every person possesses inherent worth independent of achievement or circumstance. I strive to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop resilience, and move toward healing.
I provide counseling services to individuals, children and adolescents, couples, families, and groups through both in-person and telehealth formats. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, integrating evidence-based interventions with genuine therapeutic connection to support lasting emotional and relational growth.
My clinical work focuses on treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and attachment concerns, crisis intervention, and challenges that arise across the lifespan. I have experience working with individuals impacted by domestic violence and supporting clients with neurodiversity and spectrum-related needs. My professional background includes over a decade of service in clinical and rehabilitative settings, complemented by experience in nonprofit leadership, personal training, and public service. These diverse experiences allow me to approach treatment from a holistic perspective that recognizes the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, physical, and relational well-being.
A special area of interest within my practice is trauma treatment using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I offer EMDR as both comprehensive psychotherapy and as an adjunctive service in collaboration with referring therapists, providing focused trauma processing while maintaining continuity of care with the client's primary clinician. This collaborative model allows clients to receive specialized trauma treatment without disrupting established therapeutic relationships.
Across all services, I emphasize helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, process difficult life experiences, and increase self-understanding. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, encouraging clients to recognize that their value lies in who they are rather than what they do.
