About Me

I am an EMDR-trained couple and family therapist, author working at the intersection of anti-racism and social work practice, and contemplative psychotherapist committed to helping folks heal from individual and collective trauma. I have experience presenting on the clinical implications of race-based trauma on patients and families navigating healthcare systems, particularly at end-of-life. I'm a descendent of those who survived the middle passage, with ancestors from West and Central Africa, Puerto Rico, and the state of North Carolina. I offer a heart-centered space for folks seeking a deeper sense of belonging in the world.
