About Me

I am a clinical psychologist and a certified EMDR therapist, accredited by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). With over 20 years of experience in counseling and psychotherapy, I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals heal from trauma, loss, and emotional distress. EMDR forms the structural foundation of my therapeutic approach. I integrate this powerful method with other evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to tailor support that fits each individual’s healing journey. In addition to these psychological approaches, I also incorporate somatic-based practices—including Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), Creative Movement, and Trauma-Informed Yoga—to help clients reconnect with their bodies and access their innate capacity for self-regulation and resilience. I believe healing is not just about reducing symptoms—it’s about restoring wholeness. My role is to create a safe and compassionate space where people can process difficult experiences, rediscover their strengths, and transform pain into personal growth. As a supervisor and trainer, I’m also passionate about supporting other mental health professionals on their paths to ethical and trauma-informed practice.
