About Me

I consider it my duty to create a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented environment in therapy. I offer sessions in-person and virtually in Tucson, Arizona, and virtually in the rest of Arizona and in the other states where I am licensed.
The mission of my therapy practice, Fully Human Counseling & Consulting (FHCC), is to support humans in their search to be and become fully human: to rediscover and unlock their core values, and their full range of strengths and abilities.
Part of this process is to explore, understand, reprocess, and integrate what holds us back in life, or what has wounded us. This is how we develop the capacity to creatively work with life as it comes.

The foundation is a safe and deep therapeutic relationship. This involves forming a bond, agreeing on the tasks and goals of therapy, and agreeing on the method for accomplishing these tasks and achieving these goals. We work to create a shared understanding of what your unique challenges and opportunities are, and how we want to address them.

A note on insurance: In Arizona, I am credentialed with Aetna (includes Meritain) and Optum (includes United Healthcare, Oscar, other plans). In Ohio, I am credentialed with Aetna.
I'm not credentialed with insurance in any other states.
For clients who want to work with me and whose insurance I am not credentialed with, I can provide you with a "superbill" for potential reimbursement from your insurance company--depending on the details of your plan.
