About Me

In more than 25 years in the profession, I've specialized in working with adolescents, adults, and families who struggle with trauma, substance abuse, grief and loss, lack of self-esteem, self-assertiveness, and anxiety/depression. I've seen that most of mental health issues and addictive behaviors are rooted in the pain of unresolved emotional trauma. I am a licensed, nationally certified professional counselor, gestalt and EMDR trauma certified, with experience in an array of treatment orientations. Together, we can identify the approach that is right for you. I look forward to extending my guidance to you, so you can achieve the full, healthy life you desire. I am a Consultant in Training (CIT) who works with EMDR practitioners to discuss how they are utilizing EMDR, how clients are responding, and how EMDR might further enhance their practice. I am available for individual and group consultation.
