About Me
I am currently a PhD student at Walden University. I am a veteran spouse and together we have five children. I have a passion in serving veterans and their families which is the focus of my dissertation. I enjoy working with various populations and implement various strategies into my practice. My theoretical approach is client-centered and utilizes evidence-based practices to support, encourage, educate, and empower my clients. I believe it is important to focus on my client’s strengths to assist them in identifying coping strategies to address cognitive distortions and negative behaviors.
