About Me
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults recover from trauma, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, grief, and perinatal mental health. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each person's needs. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I integrate EMDR with other evidence-based therapies to help clients reduce distress, process difficult experiences, and move toward lasting healing and resilience.
Education & Experience
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Human Services before completing my Master of Social Work at Appalachian State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C), and Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (DAAETS). I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety disorders including OCD, grief and loss, and perinatal mental health. My approach integrates EMDR with evidence-based therapies to provide individualized, trauma-informed care tailored to each client's unique needs.
