I am Christy Huang, a dedicated and experienced EMDR therapist, clinical hypnosis practitioner, certified sex therapist and yoga teacher. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey towards healing, empowerment, and holistic well-being. I offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to process their trauma, restore their emotional well-being, and nurture healthy intimate relationships. As a trauma psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complex and often debilitating effects of trauma. My expertise encompasses post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues that frequently emerge in the aftermath of traumatic experiences. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clinical hypnosis and trauma-focused somatic techniques, to support my clients in their healing process. Additionally, as a sex therapist, I specialize in addressing the complex interplay between trauma and sexuality. I have expertise in working with individuals and couples who have experienced sexual trauma, helping them navigate the impact on their sexual functioning, intimacy, and relationships. I address a range of concerns, including sexual aversion, dyspareunia, vaginismus, erectile dysfunction, low desire, and difficulties with sexual communication etc. Through a holistic and compassionate approach, I guide clients in reclaiming their sexual selves, fostering healthy relationships, and enhancing sexual well-being.
