About Me
I own and operate a group mental health counseling practice located in Massapequa Park, NY. We are a trauma-informed practice, and incorporate CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, Gestalt, EMDR, ACT, and other modalities into our work with individuals, couples, and groups. Each of our clinicians have specialty areas to ensure that clients receive the highest quality care possible. I personally specialize in EMDR, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse, and infertility. We offer both in-person and teletherapy options.
Education & Experience
I graduated with my Masters degree from Hofstra University in Rehabilitation Counseling in Mental Health in 2009. I worked in an outpatient substance abuse program for 7 years, and began working in private practice in 2014. I grew my practice into a group practice in 2019, and renamed it Healing & Growth Counseling. I have extensive experience in training and supervising clinicians of all levels in their education. I completed my EMDR Certification requirements in 2016, and am also an EMDR Consultant-in-Training.
