About Me
I serve individuals in-person in the Weirton, WV area and online across WV. I believe EMDR is a powerful tool that can help your brain make sense of the past and decrease the impact of the past on the present.
Education & Experience
I have been working as a counselor since 2009. I earned an MA in Counseling from WVU, and then worked in the federal prison system for 11 years. In 2020, I transitioned into private practice and completed EMDR basic training in 2021. I am currently in the process of earning EMDR certification. I have experience with CBT and ACT in addition to EMDR. While I enjoy helping people who have experienced any kind of trauma, I am particularly interested in helping individuals experiencing trauma related to infertility and/or childlessness.

I am a member of the National Board for Certified Counselor, the American Counseling Association, the West Virginia Counseling Association, and the West Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors Association.
