About Me

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring conditions. My clinical work is grounded in EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a focus on helping clients move through the stuck points where trauma and addiction reinforce each other.

I work with clients navigating the intersection of unresolved trauma and addiction, including those in early recovery, those further along in the process, and those who have done significant recovery work but still feel the weight of what hasn't been fully processed. EMDR has become central to how I approach this work, particularly for clients whose trauma sits underneath their substance use and keeps pulling them back toward it.

My approach starts with the person in front of me, not a protocol. I trust that clients already have what they need to heal, and my job is to create the conditions for that to happen. That means meeting people where they are, taking their experience seriously, and working alongside them rather than on them. Healing isn't something I deliver to clients. It's something we move toward together, at the pace their nervous system and their life can handle.
