About Me

Craig Sloane, LCSW, CASAC, CSAT is a licensed clinical social worker in the States of New York and New Jersey and registered telehealth clinician in Florida with over 20 years’ experience in the field. He has been in full time private psychotherapy practice since 2008 and worked in community-based agency practice for 5 years prior to that. Craig graduated with a Master of Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work in 2003 and received a Certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP) in 2007. He is a recipient of the 2012 Emerging SocialWork Leader Award from the National Association of Social Work - NYC. In his psychotherapy practice Craig specializes in working with trauma , working with the LGBTQ population and with people with substance use disorders and people struggling with out of control sexual behaviors.

Masters in Social Work, Certificate in Alcoholism and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Use Counselor, Harm Reduction Therapist, Well versed in 12-step recovery process, Certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (ICP), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (IITAP), Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Instructor (Brown U.), Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) facilitator (UCSD) and Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) trained teacher (CMSC). Special training and experience in working with LGBTQI+ populations.
