Ms. Cristal R Clark, MA, LPC-S, CEAP, SAP, ADS, NBCC
About Me
Being a Counselor is my second career and I believe my calling. I changed front office patient care to back office direct patient care in 2008. I have grown up in the Fort Worth area am proud of my roots. I am an old soul. I spend my free time studying, crafting, cooking maybe even yardwork. I am also a fan of afternoon naps with the TV on in the background.
Simply a normal girl that is blessed to have the opportunity to serve my community through charity and direct patient care.
Education & Experience
I completed my undergraduate degree and my master's degree from Liberty University in 2011. I began direct patient care in 2008 for my practicum and haven't stopped yet!!
I worked in a private psychiatric hospital from 2008-2015. I was able to see patients as young as 5 and as old as were appropriate for the Inpatient level of care. The ability to work in direct care with such a variety of diagnoses has benefited me greatly.
In 2015 I began my time at a local community hospital as their Behavioral Health Access Navigator. My main responsibility was to ensure any person in our community could access mental health care if needed! I was able to learn so much about the resources available to our community.
I have worked in my own private practice since November of 2011, MCWellness. For much of my career I worked full time for "corporate" healthcare by day and with private patients in the evenings.
I left my post at the County hospital in February of 2018 to pursue full time private practice and could not be happier.
I provide EMDR, AcuDetox, Neurofeedback, I believe each of these modalities compliment the other.
