Ms. Damaris Teresa Perez Ramirez, Licensed Psychologist
(She/hers)
Preferred Name: Damaris
About Me
I am a psychologist, originally from Cuba, where I practiced for 14 years as a professor and researcher at a medical school. In 1996, I emigrated to Spain. There I was able to obtain a license in psychology. In 2001, I emigrated to the United States and obtained the license as Psychologist in 2009, and in 2010, I completed the EMDR training. Since then, I have dedicated myself to treating immigrant populations, disadvantaged minorities, and patients who suffer from an inability to find a balance in their mental health. I have had the privilege of learning about the backgrounds of people who are very diverse in their race, origins, and life preferences.
