About Me

I am an independently licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals across the lifespan. As a therapist, my goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship in order to be able to work together to create change, acquire stabilization, and gain new coping skills. I use an eclectic therapeutic approach and diverse lens when treating and evaluating individuals and their family systems. My training and skill set draws from psycho-dynamic theory, attachment-based work, relationship-based approaches, play therapy techniques, developmental perspective, and trauma informed. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) which is a specialized trauma focused therapeutic approach for helping young children ages 0 through 6 years old process traumatic experiences. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a treatment to help individuals process distressing memories and emotions using bilateral stimulation. EMDR is a treatment that can be used with children, adolescents, and adults.
