About Me
I am an Army brat, later served in the Army. I also have lived experience as a military and law enforcement spouse. I specialize in treating complex trauma working with military and first responders. I am accepting new clients for EMDR extended sessions. I reserve Intensives for clients whom I've worked with for three months or more.
Education & Experience
I earned a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University (2016), am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. My specialty is working with current military, veterans, and first responders using EMDR extended sessions and intensives. I use DBT, Post Induction Therapy, (trauma informed) Mindfulness Based Self-Compassion, and somatic interventions to aid in resourcing and reprocessing. My Consultation group is called Operation Boots to Buzzies and it is specifically for Clinicians working with military, veteran and first responder populations.
