Education & Experience
My education consists of an Undergraduate degree in Family Studies and a Master of Counseling with and emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy both from Western Michigan University. I have spent most of my career working with children and adolescence in several different communities and environments. I have worked with children and adolescents providing therapy treating a variety of disorders and difficulties including trauma, abuse, sexual trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I have a vast knowledge in adoption issues, reactive attachment and other attachment disorders as well as trauma. I have worked with many teens that have traits of personality disorders and have helped them develop the skills they need to overcome their struggles.
