About Me

In my thirty years as a psychotherapist, I have been privileged to witness growth amongst many individuals with unique struggles. My clinical experience includes working with adults and young adults from diverse ethnic and racial communities, many of whom identify with the LGBT community, and many of whom experienced severe trauma in their childhood and adolescence.

Education & Experience

I have a doctoral degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology with an Emphasis on Somatic Therapy. My dissertation, entitled "Wounding the Healer: Suicide's Quest for Voice" explores the experience of clinician suicide loss survivors. I completed my master degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from the University of Southern California. These past few years I have been facilitating EMDR with youth experiencing homelessness, many of whom have extensive trauma histories.
