Daniel Bush, LIMHC, PhD
About Me
Daniel Arthur Bush, PhD, LMHC is a licensed psychotherapist in southern New Hampshire, specializing in the treatment of trauma and PTSD, couple distress, grief, anxiety, depression and stress. He is the co-author of the book 75 Habits for a Happy Marriage with his wife Ashley Davis Bush, LCSW. Daniel's first career in science, with a PhD in anthropology, gave way in mid-life to an interest in psychotherapy and a passion for helping others feel better. Trained in EMDR treatment for individuals and EFT (emotionally focused couple therapy) for couples, Daniel offers an emotionally focused and experiential approach to treatment and he helps people understand the nature and origin of their symptoms. Daniel holds a BA in Anthropology from Beloit College, a MS and PhD in Anthropology from the University of Washington, Seattle and a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. He has specialty training in Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), and EMDR (eye movement and desensitization and reprocessing) for the treatment of symptoms related to traumatic experience.
