About Me

Dani Anderson is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and an EMDR Consultant in Training. She is nearing completion of an Advanced Certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation (May 2024), from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD). Dani is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. She has over 14 years of clinical experience across a range of settings, to include outpatient, residential and forensic venues. Dani works with adults and has areas of special interest, or specialization, that include abuse/neglect, acute and post-traumatic stress, addictions, attachment, chronic illness, depression, dissociation, emergency responders, grief/loss, military/veterans, personality disorders, pornography use, and problematic sexual behaviors. Her therapeutic approach is anchored in curiosity and non-judgment, with an eye towards balancing empathy and accountability in the day-to-day work.
