About Me

Danielle Dawson works with individuals, families, and couples struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, giftedness, high sensitivity, grief, foster care/adoption, and relationships. She uses EMDR, play therapy, child-parent relationship therapy (CPRT), person-centered care, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and psychological education.

Education & Experience

Danielle has a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Community Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy from John Brown University. Danielle has been working in the mental health and human services field for over 15 years with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in residential, day treatment, foster care, adoption, community mental health, schools, and private practice settings. Danielle currently owns her private practice.
