David Antonio Irias, PMHNP-C
About Me
My name is David Irias, PMHNP-C, and I am the Founder of Therapy & Mind, a psychiatric practice focused on providing evidence-based, patient-centered mental health care for high-functioning adults who may appear outwardly successful yet feel overwhelmed internally. My clinical approach emphasizes thoughtful assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and long-term emotional stability rather than rushed or reactive care.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, ADHD, burnout, mood instability, trauma-related symptoms, and the intersection between chronic stress, autoimmune conditions, and mental health. My practice integrates structured medication management with EMDR-informed psychotherapy principles, behavioral interventions, lifestyle optimization, and financial stress management. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is transparent, compassionate, clinically precise, and individualized to each patient’s goals and functioning.
As both a psychiatric provider and healthcare leader, I am passionate about improving access to quality mental health care, reducing stigma, supporting healthcare professionals experiencing burnout, and promoting trauma-informed approaches across clinical settings.
