Education & Experience

I am a Registered Social Worker and have my Master's Degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University. I specialize with Addiction and Mental Health. I have worked with in the public health care system for over 28 years and now work solely in a private practice setting. I have experience with sexual addiction and compulsivity, alcohol, drugs, gambling, anxiety, depression and anger management. I am certified to use horses in treating various issues across a variety of ages. I am certified as a sexual addiction therapist and working on my partner's certification in this area. I am also in pursuit of EMDR certification and finding this modality extremely helpful in working within both addiction and mental health. I am trained in Gottman and Narrative therapy.
