About Me
I specialize in assisting clients to recover from trauma, and some of the interventions include utilizing EMDR and The Flash Technique. Both of these powerful interventions work with the brain’s information processing systems to allow an individual to reprocess trauma memories in a healthy manner and gain insights and experience relief of psychological and somatic symptoms related to that trauma memory. I strive to support clients in their learning about and identifying which strategies will allow them to constructively manage debilitating symptoms of depression and anxiety. As both a counselor and recreation therapist, I incorporate the importance of clients finding activities which will enhance their lives and bring them joy and fulfillment.
