About Me

Hi! I'm Debbie, a psychotherapist based in New York City specializing in anxiety, complex trauma, and self-esteem in 20/30-somethings. Many of my clients often feel stuck repeating thought and behavior patterns, and may have "plateaued" in traditional talk therapy. I take a holistic approach to treatment, meaning I am sensitive to your psychology, environment, and mind-body connection in your treatment. In our work together, you will develop tools to cope with stressors, process past and present painful experiences, and build your confidence to make your life more authentic, fulfilling, and meaningful.

Education & Experience

I received my double master's in clinical mental health counseling from Columbia University. Following my master's, I completed a 2-year fellowship at Behavioral Associates, where I received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, as well as neurofeedback and biofeedback. As a trauma specialist, my primary therapeutic modalities include EMDR, Internal Family Systems, DBT, and Somatic Experiencing. I have particular interest and expertise in working with young women who have experienced attachment and sexual trauma.
