About Me
I believe one of the most important tools for healing is the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe and accepting space that allows my client to feel fully supported. I approach my clients with empathy, use active listening, compassion, humor, and, when necessary, gentle confrontation. I encourage my clients to make empowering choices that build their internal sense of freedom, strengthen their self-trust, and bring them deeper clarity.
Education & Experience
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Earlham College and an M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. I work with adults, couples, military personnel, families, and adolescents (15+) addressing a wide range of concerns including marital and relationship challenges, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem issues, depression, grief, separation, divorce, life transitions, and deployments.
