About Me
My passion is to help others heal, obtain freedom, and obtain a better quality of life. I believe in striving for progress and not perfection. I believe one must take one step at a time and celebrate each step forward (whether big or small). I also believe that each individual has his or her own inner (and even outer) strengths to enhance his or her well-being and a better quality of life. I am a native Southern Californian. I'm a strong proponent of self-care. I am grateful that I love the work that I do, however, I do other things that bring me joy. I love to take walks, hike, paint, roller skate, read, spend time with family, and attend concerts and comedy shows.
Education & Experience
I've earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master's of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. I have over 13 years of experience in the counseling field, working with children, adults, and families who've experienced depression, anxiety, trauma history, grief and loss, burnout, anger, and panic.
