About Me

Denise Migliorini is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LSCW-C) with extensive background in working with trauma survivors individually and within families. Denise is certified in using the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) method, an art based approach to process trauma, as well as trained in using EMDR. Through her practice, Denise works alongside her clients on their healing journey using techniques from mindfulness, experiential practices, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Denise believes that everyone has the ability to heal and grow and tailors her approach to uniquely meet the needs of each client. She takes a holistic systems approach to address problematic symptoms and behaviors. Denise provides a safe space to explore symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions.
