About Me
I am a psychologist and family specialist from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Colombia. I started as a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, then I specialized in family therapy under a systemic approach, with which I sought to make a comprehensive approach. Looking for new tools to address trauma, I trained as an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) at the EMDR Institute, Inc.
I have more than 14 years of experience in the public and private sectors in clinical psychotherapeutic care, assessment and intervention, cognitive-behavioral, systemic, and EMDR for the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, and simple and complex trauma, among others.
I have been part of the team of psychologists selected by the Colombian government to provide mental health care during the pandemic generated by COVID-19.
