Doreen Vosburg, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
(she/hers)
Preferred Name: Doreen
About Me
I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma. These individuals find that people can’t relate to them and often stop believing in themselves. Their life is not what they imagined, causing them to feel isolated and making them sometimes wonder if they are going crazy. No, they are not going crazy. But they need someone who can listen and understand how to help them. I have made this my mission. I help my clients find the best version of themselves so they can live the best lives possible. For over 20 years, I’ve helped adults resolve relationship issues and recover from anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also help adults with family members on the autism spectrum, as I have personal experience with these unique issues.
Education & Experience
My professional training started with a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling from Wayne State College and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri – Columbia. I helped clients in Missouri and Texas before becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota and North Dakota, which required an additional 12 college credits of post-graduate work. I am also a licensed therapist in Washington and have certification in the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) technique.
