About Me

My focus is working with adults who are suffering with past trauma, depression and/or anxiety and accompanying problems (which may include family stress, problem substance use, career problems, etc.). While unresolved trauma, depression and anxiety can make everything difficult, these are highly treatable conditions. I use a structured approach, primarily based on the use of a variation of EMDR (Flash Technique) for prior trauma along with clinical hypnosis, in a process of setting and working toward goals using and developing personal strengths, learning new skills and in general helping people move toward their desired life. The Flash Technique is an evidence-based option that allows the client to process traumatic memories without feeling significant distress.
