About Me
I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely understood, supported, and empowered. My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients can safely process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and create lasting change. I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and stress. I integrate EMDR with evidence-based approaches, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you're working through a single traumatic event or longstanding patterns that continue to affect your life, I strive to help you move beyond surviving toward living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University.
I have extensive experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. In addition to private practice, I have served as a behavioral health provider in the military for more than 17 years and have experience supervising associate clinicians and counseling interns. I have also taught psychology courses at the undergraduate level, further strengthening my ability to translate complex psychological concepts into practical tools that clients can apply in everyday life.
My advanced training includes EMDR therapy, Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Pia Mellody's Post-Induction Therapy (PIT), and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
