Dymetria Sellers, LMFT
About Me
I specialize in helping women who struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, and feeling overwhelmed, especially when past experiences continue to influence how they see themselves and navigate relationships. Many of the women I work with are used to holding everything together for others while quietly struggling with their own needs, emotions, and expectations.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing involves more than managing symptoms. I integrate EMDR therapy and parts-informed approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, understand patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to who you are, without feeling defined by what you've been through.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Registered Art Therapist (ATR), and EMDRIA Certified Therapist. My clinical work focuses on supporting adults experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, self-esteem challenges, and difficulties rooted in past experiences and relationships.
I incorporate EMDR therapy, parts-informed interventions, and creative therapeutic approaches to support clients in processing distressing experiences, developing greater self-awareness, and creating meaningful, lasting change. My work emphasizes a collaborative, individualized approach that honors each client's experiences, needs, and pace.
