Understanding the importance of self-discovery and the journey to happiness, I strive to aid those achieve the best version of themselves by enhancing their skills to break through their barriers. With my passion and background in helping individuals deal with traumatic experiences, particularly those who are in the African American community and LGBTQIA+ community, my approach to therapy is a combination of experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), narrative theory, solution-focused, mindfulness, and empowerment. In addition to trauma focused therapy, I have experience in working with anxiety, domestic violence, depression, stigma, marginalized groups, and family issues in an individual, family, and group setting to children, adolescents, and adults.
