About Me
I hold a Master of Social Work from McGill University and am registered with the BC College of Social Workers and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I support individuals facing various challenges including eating disorders and body image issues, trauma and PTSD, anxiety disorders including OCD, and depression. I also assist with navigating life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and grief.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In addition, my training includes Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This comprehensive skillset allows me to offer personalized care that addresses both the symptoms and root causes of distress.
My approach is marked by compassion, empathy, and engagement. I connect with clients on a personal level, striving to understand their individual life experiences and environments. By fostering a strong and trusting relationship, I help clients move beyond their symptoms and achieve long-term personal growth.
