About Me
I believe that everyone deserves a space to tell their story with dignity and respect. I approach everyone I work with, with a trauma-informed, person-centered, and feminist-theory approach. That means I see you as the expert on your life and experiences, I will walk alongside you providing validation and tools along the way, and we will reference the systems/cultures that impact you. I was trained in EMDR while still in my internship during graduate school, and am now EMDR Certified. I enjoy working with adolescents 15+ through late adulthood, who want support around symptoms related to trauma/C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and neurodivergencies (ADHD, autism, HSP, etc.), and those who have experienced religious trauma. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two cats (Bilbo & Leia), and two golden retrievers (Rory & Marshall). I also am a huge bookworm, and love talking to anyone about their favorite books. Memes & TikToks are one of my favorite forms of self-care, so feel free to bring any that resonate to therapy with you!
Education & Experience
I received my B.A. degree in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado; and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I have completed LPC Supervision Training through the Colorado Counseling Association, and can provide clinical supervision to counseling students and LPCC’s. In April 2022, I completed Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Training through PRATI (Psychedelic Research and Training Institute).
