About Me
Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience. She has worked in residential treatment centers, school-based settings, and outpatient agencies. Elizabeth earned her master’s degree from Marshall University and specializes in working with adolescents and adults. Her professional experience encompasses trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationship issues.
Elizabeth is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an integrative approach designed to address a variety of concerns. Her other therapeutic training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Ego State Work.
Elizabeth's goal is to help individuals understand and resolve the effects of trauma and adversity to foster wellness in the present. She values the therapeutic relationship and believes that clients thrive in an environment where they feel supported, recognized, and valued. Elizabeth is committed to creating a safe space for her clients by bringing empathy, compassion, authenticity, humor, and acceptance to the therapeutic process.
