About Me
As a therapist I strive to assist you in activating your inner healer. Your inner healer uses trauma to facilitate growth. We will use the therapeutic relationship, modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems and Somatic Attunement to access your own ability to process conscious and unconscious material that is stuck in the painful experience of trauma reactions.
Education & Experience
I was psychodynamically trained at Smith College School for Social Work and graduated in 2003. I worked as a social worker in various jobs from 2003-2014. In 2014 I was trained in EMDR and went into private practice. Since 2014, I have trained in different modalities. I have worked with single incident trauma as well as complex trauma that develops over a longer period of time and includes emotional neglect and abuse, physical and sexual abuse.
