Elizabeth Kenney, LCSW

(she/her)

About Me

I am a former textile designer who decided to change careers and am very happy I did! I enjoy knitting, cooking, being in nature, reading all sorts of books, fiction and non-fiction, and love cats and dogs. I especially enjoy working with teenagers and young adults in my practice and anyone who is young at heart. I'm also very interested in integrative healing and the intersection of food, environment, and mental health

Education & Experience

Elizabeth received her MSW from New York University and completed post graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. She has worked with adults and families in private practice and community-based clinic settings, and with adolescents and young children individually, in groups, and in school-based settings. She is K-12 mindfulness instructor and trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for 0-5 year-olds plus caregiver(s).
