About Me
I am the Founder and former Director of Apollos Center for Healing and Growth and Owner of Apollos Center for Training and Supervision (ACTS). I am also the owner of Happy Camper Child and Family Therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my six children.
Education & Experience
With over a decade of experience in trauma and attachment, I am an experienced traveling companion on your journey to healing. I incorporate Sandtray Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Internal Family Systems with an attachment-focused approach to EMDR. I specialize in the most complex child trauma cases including Adults with DID. I have personal experience and specialization in medical trauma, chronic pain, and spiritual trauma. I provide telehealth services in Texas and Idaho as well as in person and ECHO Therapy in the Houston area.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I served as a board member on Sam Houston Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy from 2020-2021. I am been a consultant for the Playful EMDR Summit since its beginning in 2022. I have trained therapists on Sandtray, EMDR, and Attachment for various events including Association for Play Therapy Conferences, A Time for Play Continuing Education program, Christian Counselors of Texas Conference, and more.
