About Me

As a clinical therapist, I have years of experience in helping individuals and families who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal problems, trauma-related stress, and/or difficulty coping with environmental stressors. I enjoy helping others improve insight regarding their internal experiences so they might more easily navigate through stressful life experiences to reach their personal goals. My goal is to help others better regulate their emotions, improve communication, and cope productively with stressors. I am passionate about providing person-centered, evidence-based care when serving others to best meet their needs. I am grateful for the opportunity to assist adolescents, teens, adults in all walks of life, couples, and families as they strive to improve their quality of life. I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist. I enjoy facilitating positive change for clients recovering from recent crises as well as those who have suffered for years with complex trauma symptoms. Various forms of abuse, unhealthy relationships, unexpected losses, witnessing violence or tragedies, war, first responding, natural disasters, adverse childhood events, etc. can all negatively impact a person’s functioning in a multitude of ways. With effective treatment, these negative life events can be processed in a safe and effective way that help a client decrease their sensitivity to the trauma and develop healthier responses to stress overall. I am also a certified CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) therapist and Brainspotting practitioner. I am actively developing my skills in Ego State Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy to assist individuals who experience varying degrees of depersonalization or dissociation. In practice, I take pride in combining clinical expertise with empathetic understanding to provide effective treatment. I look forward to meeting you.
