Elizabeth Wray
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling with emphasis on Marriage and Family Counseling from California State University Northridge, Summa Cum Laude. During my graduate studies, I provided psychotherapy to low-income families, children, adolescents and adults at the Mitchell Family Counseling Clinic. Upon graduating I began working in the treatment setting, focusing primarily on eating disorders, often with co-morbidity of depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, PTSD and trauma. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and additionally, fully trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, which I bring into my therapy practice. I specialize in eating disorders and have been working in the treatment modality for over five years. I have been the Program Director for several ED Outpatient treatment programs, treating teens, and adult women and men.
