Preferred Name: Elysia
About Me
I am a mother of two beautiful boys and moved to Utah from San Diego 4 years ago. I LOVE yoga and exercising. I have found so much healing in movement and meditation and practice these forms of self-care on a daily basis. I am laid back and very personable and feel that there is nothing more rewarding that seeing my clients heal from their trauma.
Education & Experience
I graduated from San Diego Sate University with both a bachelors degree and masters degree in social work. I am passionate about helping clients heal from adverse childhood experiences and specialize in childhood sexual trauma, women's issues, religious traumas, intergenerational trauma in marginalized communities, domestic violence, and combat veterans. I am passionate about getting to the underlying issues to presenting problems. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of healing so that my clients can feel safe.
