About Me

I am a mother of two beautiful boys and moved to Utah from San Diego 4 years ago. I LOVE yoga and exercising. I have found so much healing in movement and meditation and practice these forms of self-care on a daily basis. I am laid back and very personable and feel that there is nothing more rewarding that seeing my clients heal from their trauma.

Education & Experience

I graduated from San Diego Sate University with both a bachelors degree and masters degree in social work. I have worked in the following settings: Substance abuse treatment facilities, homeless populations, the Native American adolescents in a residential setting, outpatient settings with clients struggling from severe mental illnesses, and a residential setting with foster youth struggling with attachment issues. I am passionate about helping clients heal from adverse childhood experiences and specialize in childhood sexual trauma, women's issues, religious traumas, intergenerational trauma in marginalized communities, and domestic violence. I am passionate about getting to the underlying issues to presenting problems. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important part of healing so that my clients can feel safe enough in order to feel vulnerable and let their guard down.
