About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio and Kentucky (LPCA) and have experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and specific populations such as military/first responders and LGBTQIA+. I have seen firsthand some of the difficulties and stigmas surrounding access to appropriate services for mental health support and seek to provide care in a way that a client can relate to and feel understood. Providing education and facts surrounding sex, intimacy, and relationships is so important, especially when it was absent or shrouded in fear, shame, or mystery while growing up. Too many of us have received inaccurate or little information about sex and our bodies. I want to provide a space for you to explore and understand how sex and intimacy fit in with who you are now to promote safety, pleasure, and connection.
Education & Experience
I have obtained my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a Graduate Certificate in Military Resilience. I am currently enrolled as a doctoral student obtaining my Ed.D. in Community Care and Counseling, specializing in Traumatology. I also have additional training in EMDR, CPT, DBT and sex therapy.
