About Me
Emily Spencer, LPC/LCPC, BC-TMH, PMH-C provides telemental health to residents of Pennsylvania and Maryland through her private practice, Lily of the Valley Wellness. She holds additional certifications as a perinatal mental health provider (PMH-C), board certified telemental health provider (BC-TMH), and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is currently pursuing EMDRIA certification. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University in 2013. With over a decade of counseling experience in a variety of clinical settings, Emily’s current practice focuses on maternal mental health, perinatal loss, and trauma. Emily has been extensively trained by leading experts in the perinatal field including Postpartum Support International, The Touchstone Institute, and The Postpartum Stress Center. Outside of her direct work with clients, Emily enjoys helping other counselors grow their clinical skills and professional identity through adjunct teaching; providing clinical supervision, consultation, and mentoring; and presenting at state and national conferences on important topics in perinatal mental health.
