About Me
Emily Spencer, MS, NCC, LPC/LCPC, BC-TMH, PMH-C is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of mental health experience in a variety of settings. She is a certified EMDR therapist, perinatal mental health provider, board certified telemental health provider, and nationally certified counselor.
Emily’s current practice focuses on women's mental health, perinatal mental health, and trauma. Emily has been extensively trained by leading experts in the perinatal field including Postpartum Support International, The Touchstone Institute, and The Postpartum Stress Center.
Outside of her direct work with clients, Emily enjoys helping other counselors grow their clinical skills and professional identity through adjunct teaching; providing clinical supervision, consultation, and mentoring; and presenting at state and national conferences on important topics in perinatal mental health.
