About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist , with over a decade of experience, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, perfectionism, and the lasting impact of childhood and family‑rooted trauma. Many of the people I work with struggle with emotional echoes of the past—flashbacks, intrusive memories, intense feelings, or relationship patterns that no longer serve them. Using EMDR, I help clients process these experiences in a way that feels contained, empowering, and attuned to their pace. I also support adolescents and young adults as they navigate identity, self‑worth, and stress during important life transitions. I aim to create a grounded, compassionate space where healing feels possible and where you can reconnect with your inner strength.
Education & Experience
I am an EMDR‑trained Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 13 years of clinical experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families across community, medical, and private practice settings. My work is grounded in trauma‑informed care, attachment theory, and evidence‑based approaches for anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation.
I hold a Master of Arts in Family Counselling and Family Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I developed a strong foundation in family systems, relational patterns, and intergenerational trauma. I also completed a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, which shaped my early commitment to accessible, client‑centred mental health care.
